Downloading houses.. Hi, Does anyone know how to download a house from thesims2.com? Please can you tell me step by step how to do it? I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
1. Pick your lot 2. Go to "Lot Details", read the information, espeically the stuff listed under "custom content". If the author has any hacks or mods downloaded, they can and usually will be downloaded with the packaged lot. So if are not interested in adding careers or having your sims abducted by aliens every time they use the expensive telescope, then look at the listings before you download. 3. If the lot seems fairly clean, then click the "Download This Lot" under where it says "required games." 4. Go to your Downloads folder. It is in "My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads." 5. Look for the file. It is still packaged. It will have a diffrent icon than your files that are already opened. Double click this file, and the program will open itself and load it into the game. It will pop up a new window that shows the name of the file, and asks if you want to extract these files to your game. Tell it "yes" and then it will give you a "sucsess" sort of message. 6. The new lot will be in the lot bin when you start the game and open a neighborhood.
if u r using aol internet connection the download might not work and at the end of downloading it will not save it. i have only heard this from my friends so i dont know if it true
