Clothing Problem

When I go to a community lot to but clothes I put it in the cart and I can't check out the button looks like this

It wount let me buy the clothing. Help please.

 

clothing is expensive not free, are you sure you have enough simoleans to make the purchase?

 

Yup I had 120,000 simolens (sp?).

 

It is possible that the clothing is not buyable. I've noticed that there are quite a few pieces of clothing on TheSims2 exchange site (ie- Maxis created upc outfits) that are not buyable in the game. You can only use the outfits when creating new sims.

Or it is possible that you are trying to use an outfit and do not have the needed mesh.

Also a possibility ... is there a cash register and assistant on the lot?
