It's a new one with NL. It lets you change aspiration and/or turn on/turn offs whenever you want, but they have to be at least in the gold. I changed a money sim to knowledge, for example, and I've changed my sims' turn-ons on occasion. I figure what you like when you're sixteen is different from what you like when you're 40.
When a pleasure sim goes into aspiration failure he puts a lampshade on his head and dances like a chicken. I think it's the funniest so far! The poor guy his wife had their first baby and I wouldn't let him go downtown because he had to stay home and help with the baby. I didn't even realize his aspiration had tanked until I heard this noise and found him dancing around with the lampshade. As soon as he was done something else happened and he just put the lampshade back on his head and did his little dance again. Poor guy I thought he was going to end up slitting his wrists. Ruth
You know, I've had days when I felt like talking to flour sack babies. I've only had one Sim beg for money. She was a uni student and she didn't pay her bills, so the repo man came over and not to party. She was already low because she wanted to buy stuff that she didn't need, and wanted to make money and it was the middle of the semester, so no real cash was coming. So, she stood outside her Sorority and begged on the street. No one gave her any money, either. Do they usually give them money?
I think its just an animation, not actually something you can interact with. At least, I've never seen a sim get given money when begging, unless you count freestyling when they don't have high Creativity (or is it Charisma?)! I haven't had any Pleasure Sims yet, but that just sounds too hilarious to miss! I also love how other Sims do these "he's crazy!" actions - twirling a finger round their ear and rolling their eyes! I know, I'm bad. I just can't help laughing at them...
kind of off topic... is there any way to change lifetime wants??? I'm getting so tired of all my sims: knowledge popularity etc wanting to be a super athelete. or a celebriety chef. help
It comes with NL, sorry SuiteMichelle, can't remember if you have that or not. If you do, it's the reward that looks like a cement mixer. It's one of the best reasons to get NL. I even used it to fix a sim who didn't even HAVE a LTW when he transitioned to teen ... Hey, Chee-Z, speaking of cute new gestures, my favorite is the cell phone one, you know, where they look at someone they think is hot and go, "call me" in simlish, of course. It's just so cheesy, I love it. It is a little weird when people do it to their spouses, though.

I had another $$ sim go into Aspiration Failure over the weekend. His wife died. (I wasn't heartbroken, but he was!) What's funny is that I thought he was a hottie, so I downloaded a realistic skin and some sexy undies for him. He went out panhandling wearing his underwear!!!!!! I snapped a pic, but I'm not sure it's appropriate for posting.
