The Camera Well i know that we have a camera on the sims2 and you can Record on it, But im not sure how to use it, So if anyone would like to explain, or Direct me to a website where it explains id be more than greatful... Thanks in advance xxx
Well, the camera can be activated by clicking the camera icon on the bottom left of the screen, or pressing "C". To take better pictures, use the "filmaker's mode". Press TAB, and (it may take time getting used to this) use your cursor to rotate the view. The video camera works similarly, (but press "V" instead of "C"). You can set the maximum ammount of time a video can be, as videos can eat up a lot of hard drive space. I think there is a camera that your sims can use in one of the EPs, but as I don not have either, I can't tell you much about it. If you have more ?'s about this, or need/want tips on pics and album making, just ask! Hope this helps.
You can take some very nice pictures in game, as I've discovered. If you have a fairly powerful computer go into game options (the little cog-like thingies) and choose Medium or Large for your format. I use Medium and have gotten some very nice pictures (see my story thread). My game ran slow when I tried Large. I need more RAM and a better video card first, I think. The camera the sims can use is the career reward for the artist track. You need uni. They need to graduate from college to get that job. It's pretty cool, but it takes some practice as well. Go into buy mode to remove the photo from the camera. I really wish it would let you pose visitors! I want the kids and grandkids to visit my first gen sim, Lola, who has the camera, so they can all be in a big family photo. But every time I try to get them to pose they wander around the lot. If anyone knows how to get them to do THAT I'd appreciate it! I think it would be cool to hang on their wall.
