How do I use the customize option when making my sims? I don't understand why it wont let my use the customize option on my sims game, I'd really appriciate someone giving me the heads up, lol.
Right by customize, I assume you mean the Create A Sim facility that lets you make and alter new sims either in ones or as family groups. Right? If so you still need to explain what is not working. How far do you get before your run into trouble. Sorry but we really need to know some seriously detailed info. Also if the problem is connected with you computer we'll need to know about that as well See this page to tell you how to report your computer's specs. Finally if you do not own the game that will cause you all sorts of trouble and if that's the case we don't care at all. We don't support theft or thieves. Sorry to be blunt.
still needing help w/ customize option,... I don't really know how to be more specific, but, um...when your making your sims theres a customize option, like for the eyes and skin color, right? And it wont let me click on it for some reason, and no, I do own the game, lol, i'm not the type to steal,...but i'd really appriciate some help here, i'm sorry if i'm not being specific enough, I'm trying, lol. The forum computer is a bit slow at the moment (Manager Josh is saving up for some new batteries ) so please be patient once you have replied it'll happen anyway. No need to do everything twice. Well have you made a sim to customize. There has to be a sim stood on the podium before you can customize him or her. You probably just need to clcik the create a sim button ... it's down in the left hand corner.
I'm wondering if Quest might be referring to the asterisk where customized skins and things show up. They only show up there if you've downloaded skins and eye colors and stuff like that. Sorry, Quest, if I'm not understanding you. Maybe a verbal description of the steps you are taking and what you see on the screen would help us. p.s. I'm home from work today and loggin' on and off while I do laundry and cleaning.

Hey we love people who say thank you ... especially when we we've been so uselessly slow at helping. Ah that old custom content browser asterisk thingy. I never use it. If you click on that the game will ask you if you want to connect to the exchange at http://thesims2.ea.com/. There is so much stuff there that you could search for a month and not find the best example of what you're looking for. Instead try the download sites. World Sims has one just click the Download button. Failing that check out the thread Our Favorite Download Sites in this very forum. Sites with custom content always carry advice on how to download and install their content in your game. Once you have new hair, skin and eye colours installed you can use them to make your sims look the way you want and if you download new clothes you can dress them the way you want as well.
