2 Question's LONG explanation! Help?! Ok, here's the deal. So it's not confusing, i'm gonna tell from the complete beginnig up to my problem. I have a sim I made named heather, she lived in a crappy house. I made her ALL by herself and a family sim. She met her love Joe and she proposed to him..... Once they were married Joe was at the top of his game and promoted to Mayor of "Big Lane City" Heather had child #1 (a boy) and the asperation to have 10 kids came up. I figured since her hubby was rich and she wasen't a "working mom" why not? so she had 3 more kids ( Joan #1 , Andy #2 , Jesse #3 , Nick #4 all boys  ) Joan and Andy were teen's and Jesse and Nick were kids. The she got pregnant AGAIN and had her first set of TWINS!!! happily( FOR ME) both were girls!!! (Theresa and HailyD lIKE THE NAMES? When they turned into kids Joan had FINNALY TURNED into an adult. I decided NOT to move him out and try Legacy.....So HE met a girl and proposed to her. She said yes! If you didn't know not including the girl I was at 8 family members! So I try'd to get them married. But, a notice pooped up with the girls face sayiing due to global warming blah blah blah and that until i moved out a sim ,the girl couldn't join the family. So im wondering if I move Joan oout will he lose his realationship with her? And will i have to start all over? Since there technicaly not "bonded yet"??? Questions: A: If i move Joan out will he lose the realationship with the Girl? B: Is this a Legacy? Or not?!
Hi Flamey. Answers: A: No. He won't lose his relationships. B: It depends on the rules. The original legacy rules required that the first born of each generation remain on the lot. Long answer ... one way around this problemo is to have hubby move out taking most of the kids with him. (They'd still count toward Heather's quota of 10!) Heather could even still remain married to Joe ... she could invite him over when needed to "Try for Baby" as and when needed ...
About the Legacy rules: It isn't the 1st born, it is a direct blood decedent from Gen. 1 (Heather). So if you want to build them their own little love nest and move them out, and allow one of the other children to carry on the Legacy, then I think it would be fine.
Personnally, i'd perfer to move out Joan. Let him start his own little family, With his girl. Moving out the kids as they reach adulthood. But then it wouldn't be Legacy if I move Joan out . :ermm: I tried to move Joan out by going to the computer and clicken "find own place" but nothing happens it just get's canceld So, do I HAVE to use the newspaper?
