OK, so it's a little overgrown back there. Lots of animals--everything from chipmunks to badgers, foxes and deer. No chance (God and government willing) the woods will be developed--it's a protected watershed near the reservoir. But the weird thing is, we're so close to the city we can here the roar of traffic on the Baltimore Beltway every morning, all mixed in with the sound of insects, birds and chattering squirrels. I'm a mile and a half from the office which is on a very busy intersection. We've only lived in this neighborhood two years and for me, a city girl, it's like paradise. I take tons of useless pictures of the trees--those big, mysterious, quiet forms of life that we take for granted.
