    About Moving Sims

Okay, I moved my sim to a new house and lost about 2 days, luckily I moved on the first day of my 3 days off.

Is that normal? Would I have missed days of work if I had moved on a work afternoon?

It's always Monday when you move. I had a kid taken away that way, once. She'd missed too much school.

Fortunately, with Nightlife, you can drive the kids to school if they miss the bus, which I always do now when they get a new house.

Does that mean if I move on a Tuesday I'll miss 5-6 days?

How about if I move on a Monday, would I miss no days or 6? I'm confused as to how that works...

Well you're not really "missing" days as the Sims stay the same age. As in if they have 5 days before elder and you move them on a Tuesday it doesn't mean that they are going to be elders if you move them to a new house, they still have 5 days before becoming an elder. It really only effects school and jobs, they might miss that one day. Overall it doesn't affect much.
