alien abduction?? i know their supposed to look through the telescope, and yes im in strangetown, but nothing ever happens! i want one of my sims to be abducted but nothing ever happens, and ive tried doing it at day and night time.
The chance of an alien abduction is only like 5%, so it is pretty slim. Some have reported that playing the female alien sim in the college bin increases the odds of abduction happening...I can't remember her name right now. Anyway, there is a boolprop cheat, but I'm warning you right now to NOT mess with it if you don't know what you're doing and it can screw up your game if you select other options with it...in other words, we are not responsible for what you do to your own game. open the cheat box by holding ctrl + shift + C. Type (without the quotes) "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" Go into live mode and select the sim you want to have abducted...remember, if you select an adult male he will come back pregnant! Hold the shift key down and click on the telescope. Instead of saying stargaze it will say "be abducted" and "force error" Don't click force error, click be abducted" Your Sim will then walk over to the telescope to stargaze and instead it will trigger an abduction. Make sure you turn off the boolprop after doing this. open the cheat window again, type "boolprop testingcheatsenabled false"
Boolprop gives you a lot of power, and you could make something happen that corrupts the game. Also, quitting the game without turning off the cheat can mess up your game. The creators used this cheat to test out the game and make sure everything was working correctly.
