Well Josh, I guess that America is the land of the free...and that includes free to like all sorts of things!! Personally, I only liked the first show of American Idol because it was amusing to see how many self-deluded people there were in the country...the scary thing is that it did so well that the nerds in Canadian programming decided they wanted to catch this wave so there is now a Canadian Idol show on the airwaves...Just imagine the original lamed-down by a major factor and you'll know what this is about!! Actually Hataz, I didn't watch the first season....technically this is my first season of watching and I'm cheering for Josh Gracin (no brainer .... and if you can't figure out why I'm cheering for Josh...think very hard ) Oh My Bookworm....COPYCATS!!!
* starts thinking very hard * hmmmmm........that's a tough one. :tired: Anyway josh, i watch it occasionally, and I missed the first season but i saw all the audition episodes. I don't watch it as often now, but i usually watch the shows where they get the voting results.
So THAT's what that noise was, Josh. I was wonderin about that. I watched part of it last night, but I'm beginning to lose interest. And Bookworm is right. I can't beleive how many people truly believed that they were the best when they were utterly horrible. :disappointed: :bunny: :bunny:

LOL...I'm afraid that all these names are totally unknown to me but I find that I'm that way about most of the new music acts that are out there...I watch MTV Cribs sometimes with my kids and am amazed at how many of these singers are wealthy and have humungous houses and I've never even heard of them!! Now, there is a show that glorifies conspicuous consumption!!
Some of my friends are trying out for Canadian Idol, don't tell them but they don't sing good. I've been watching some of Idol and it's clear Clay and Ruben will be the last 2. Clay will probably win because former voters for voted off contestants will vote for him. He's always hugging and kissing female contestants, LOL.
Now that Carmen is gone, *ponders how to say this*, I gotta say it, Josh is probably next. :bandit:. Still, he may be able to pull it together, but at this rate, there's no way he'll win. (I did say "at this rate" so don't yell I was wrong if he wins, because if he does, they he obviously pulled it together ) :bunny:
I have no idea but think that most of these "Reality" shows bite!! Give me good, old escapism any day!! Besides, I find "evil" Simon's comments the most interesting part of the show...although I admit that I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of his nasty comments...He's not the most appealing British export!! LOL
whats the name of that mean judge in the 1st season? is he still there? i like kelly clarkson but she makes bad choices with her wardrobe
