    'Bloopers'

They used to, or are still displaying, a blooper about a Sim with her head stuck in the fridge over on the official Sims2 site.

Well, getting your Sims stuck in a fridge doesn't seem to be the only blooper around. My Sims seem to be very fond of getting their own children stuck either on or in them.

On the first picture, the dad walked around with his son stuck...well, in his head and his arms extended at a straight 90 angle behind him for an hour or so. The second pic shows mom with her daughter apparently permanently attached to her belly. She walked around with her there for half a day until I finally got her 'unstuck'. Twas not funny. Mom nearly died, and the little girl was almost threatened to be taken away by social service.

If you could please go to the official TS2 site and fill out their feedback questionaire, it would be helpful. That's one of the known bugs and the more they know about why it happens, the more likely they are to find a way to fix the bug.

One bug they've already figured out is the "blooper baby" bug (where the baby comes out with the face looking funny.) It turns out that that only happens if people have moved the starter kits (which are no longer necessary because all the extra stuff from Gamestop and File Planet are in the game) into the downloads file.

I didn't take a picture of it, though I really wish I had... guess I was too tired to think of it (seeing as it was 2am and I'd been playing for 6 hours... man this game eats away at my life). Anyway, I did laugh and laugh and laugh. For whatever reason my oldest teen daughter decided she needed to be the one to "Help with Birthday" and turn my infant into a toddler when 7:00 came around. But for whatever reason the action disappeared from her queue before she did it. And my baby didn't grow up. I wasn't too concerned since I figured as soon as the mom got up from her nap I'd buy a birthday cake. The teen needed a shower badly so I sent her to do that.

But here's the funny part. Somehow the "Help with Birthday" came back for her, and apparently with a lot of priority on it because she got out of the shower to go do it. However... she didn't put her clothes back on! She walked out into the living room all pixalated because she was naked, completely oblivious (obviously) to that fact. There were other Sims around too and no one noticed (not that you'd expect them to, since they aren't supposed to walk around naked). After she helped turn the baby into a toddler she wanted to have dinner but I sent her back to the shower, seeing as she was naked. She showered, got out, and dressed normally. But it was hilarious! :silly:

Did do. Thanks for the hint - I didn't even know there was such a feedback form.

I didn't yet download any single files - .bmps or anything else offered on fan sites. I always stuck to the .sim2packs ( bad experiences with downloaded stuff for Sims1 left a mark, I guess ), so I doubt my problems came from anything downloaded. The parents of this particular set of children were also not made from custom content, but from content that came with the game.

I guess as long as I'm not forced to delete a Sim or an entire family, and as long as I manage to get the kids unstuck, it's not a big deal... yet.

I had one where my Sim became invisible. He could walk around and stuff, and do things, but he was invisible. Needless to say, this was not very photogenic.

Holy crapola, that is a lot of money. What, three or four doses of Motherlode and the corresponding ability to furnish and build a humongous, lot-spanning 5-level mansion wasn't enough? That's more cash than my entire neighborhood's networth.

I had issues with my Teddy Bear... it would randomly float in the air, then when someone picked it up, the tracking on their arms would cause them to spaz around all crazy like... then the bear got stuck in the side of the double bed, then disappeared completely for a sim week or so...

I'll post pics when i get home.

    --- edit ---

Ok here they are. The first is the "HoverBear" craze and the second is stuck in the side of the double bed.

I've had problems with my teddy bear too. Got stuck sideways in the stairwell (it's spot was sitting right next to the stairs). I also had one similar to the floating guy. This one house I have people on the second floor are visible from the first floor when they're using a certain toilet. They're just sitting there pixalated in thin air above everyone's heads. It's happened several times.

Same here. However, I could move/delete the bear just fine. So far, I didn't have the problem of not being able to move/delete anything without using a cheat.

One thing I did notice though: the same family I got the 'bloopers' from developed a couple more strange things. For example, when the baby grew up and went from toddler to school kid, every time he sat down to do his homework, his arm would be twisted unnaturally... as if he were trying to to write on his 'pad' while it was facing away from him. This kept up until his sister grew from a toddler into a school kid and did her own homework. Poof, both do their homework 'normally'.

I guess the game does have bugs when it comes to certain transitional actions... most of the glitches I did experience came in relation to Sims children which had just been born, or were somewhere in the baby to teen stage.
