Brand new iMac + Sims + downloads? I was able to play my game just fine with the downloads in addition. Then all of a sudden after not downloading any new downloads it just stopped working. I can't even get into the game anymore. It gets frozen at loading when the screen comes up that says We have discovered customized or modified content is enabled in your game. I have to manually shut down the computer when it does that. I don't want to loose all my downloads, the reason i play the game is to design houses which it really helps to have the downloads and all my houses already have them in them. I do have a bunch of expansion packs in addition and they are all legal copies ...So is there a way I can keep my downloads and maybe install a program that can go through them all and weed out the bad ones? I know there is one for the PC but what about Mac? Brand new iMac 24" OSX 10.5.3 Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Speed: 3.06 GHz Number Of Processors: 1 Total Number Of Cores: 2 L2 Cache: 6 MB Memory: 2 GB Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
i got my other problem resolved played the game for a couple months and now this is happening so this was not a double post :(
Well, I saw it that way and I'm sorry. But, in my opinion, you could have left a note in the other thread about your other problem being fixed to make things less confusing. The only thing that I can think about to help your problem is that you delete your downloads and start re-downloading the ones you really want in your game, but that's not answering your question. Sorry, I don't really know a lot about macs.
