Buying clothes, transfer from community lot to home help please I have long been having a bug where after I buy clothes at a community lot, they sometimes, randomnly, get lost so that when I return to the original lot and click on the armoire, my sims cannot set their new clothing. Does anyone have and suggestions to help me?
Random bugs are the hardest to fix, IMHO. Is it possible you forgot to click "accept" and accidentally cancelled the purchase? Sounds like something you're going to have to live with. Or, you could get Pescado's clothing tool, which lets your sims shop at home.
Is it true that if a college student goes downtown to buy clothes they won't be available when they get back to college? Did that once. Very annoying. I thought I read somewhere that if you live downtown you can buy clothes downtown but not from anywhere else. Or if you live in the regular neighborhood you can't buy clothes from downtown? Or did they fix this issue with the OFB expansion pack? Just curious. I've been careful about where I go to buy clothes ever since that college incident where Emmy spent all kinds of money and got nothing for it. :(
Yes. Downtown clothes are for all age groups EXCEPT young adult. Makes sense, since you don't need Uni to play NL. You can only buy YA clothes on campus. I found that out the hard way, too.
