'tould a rose smell as sweet. At least that's what the pikey bard thought. So what has this to do with simmery, I hear you ask.

I have often wondered what some of the activities in the the game are called in other languages but being a bit lazy never got around to raising the issue. So come on you folks who play the game in languages other than english, treat us to some choice translations. I've been nosing around a French site recently and have gleaned the following:
    • Mrs Crumplebottom = Mme Dentelle (loosely translates as Mrs. Lace)
    • Nightlife is Nuits de Folies (Nights of Madness)
    • saving the best for last ...
    • WooHoo = Crac-Crac ... (I have no idea ... )
Over to Jake The Dane ...

Perhaps it's the celtic roots of the gallic people showing in their vernacular :p In Irish Gaelic craic (pronounced "crack" ... but with an irish accent, thus: cr-ark  (roughly) which is Irish for fun and enjoyment :)
