Can you use the Clean Installer on Sims, Too?

I made a sim tonight that I'm very proud of. She looks very realistic, very normal. I was going for another sim-self now that I can actually see all the little nuances of a sims face with the new computer. (sigh. . .I'm in Heaven!) I wanted to make Simmy-Kristal available for upload, thinking that she might interest people in a good townie or common house-wife type sim. And then I remembered: Her eyes, skintone, and makeup are all custom, all downloaded from my favorite Heleane.

I do not want to steal anyone's work. That's just not me. So, I thought about running the sim through the clean installer. But, I also have default over-rides in the skintones and eyes, and I didn't make those, either. So, would it work anyway if I cleaned the sims pack, and then uploaded it? Because the next time it would be opened, it would be opened on someone else's computer and use their default skin and eyes, right?

    suitemichelle Gramma's here!

not sure... a number of sims from the ea site show the custom parts of the sim and from where... and when I download them I get the skins they're in.

Well, I learned how to clean a lot with the CI, I just hadn't tried a sim yet.
