cant throw parties! when ever i want my sims to throw a party it doesnt work - i click on the phone and choose either bday, wedding or house party, then the sim goes up to the phone, picks it up but then puts it straight down again. the phone is not in use or anything so i dont know what is causing it. also it has only done this recently, i have been able to throw parties in the past but not anymore. if anyone has any ideas or solutions please reply soon - i want to install TS2 uni tomorrow and want to get it fixed before then
This is a bug. A fix is available here. http://www.variousimmers.net/vsimforum/showthread.php?t=228 TS2U will fix this problem also, but in a different, somewhat spammier and much laggier way.
if i download the bug fix will that classify as a hack that i will have to remove before installing TS2U? if so then i wont bother. also what do you mean it TS2U fixes it but in a 'spammier and laggier' way? thanks
He means that his way is better. JMPescado is an excellent hacker/modder of the game. His refinements rarely cause any problems. Adding and removing his creations is as simple as dragging and dropping into or out of your My_Documents\EA_Games\The_Sims_2\Downloads folder. Another clue to his goodness is that all his hacks have easy to read (and find) names.
