Child Sleeping Over? I almost missed seeing this event. I didn't catch a snapshot but frankly one wouldn't be that interesting. One of the kids, April, invited Fern over (aspiration to make Fern into a best friend). Fern asks to bring along another. (It was her sister, Zippy ... cute name, huh? ) Anyway April's green-tinged bro, Mercury, didn't get on too well with Zippy and I lost track of her ... especially as Mercury's big brother -- Alien Entity #1 -- wanted a big birthday party. The party was a success and as the guest headed for home I saw someone getting out of Mom and Pop's bed and rubbing her eyes. It was Zippy!!! She must've gotten tired and found a nice comfy bed for a quick nap. Until now I didn't know that visiting children could sleep (over??) ... or am I just missing something that everyone else knows about?
No. You can't invite children for a sleepover. Only teens. Besides she wasn't invited for a sleepover and she left at 8pm with her dad who had come for the party ....
I had something similar happen, Mirelly, only with an adult party guest. I know guests aren't supposed to be able to do things like sleep in beds or take baths, but pretty much whenever I have a party, at least one guest will take a bath. And the last birthday party I had the same guest who tied up the bathroom taking a bubble bath also went to sleep in the teenage son's room. When the party ended she got up and left the house in her nightgown. Very, very strange.
