Crashing to Desktop when Loading Neighborhoods

GRRRRR! I played the game fine last Sunday, then loaded some new lots. Went back and started the game, and it crashed to the desktop while loading the neighborhoods. I removed the new lots. Tried again. No go. Completely removed my downloads folder--still crashed. I noticed that the game generated a new downloads folder and placed several files for it. I opened the files with the Clean Installer, and some of them were homecrafter files and some were empty packages. So I checked my lot bin with the clean installer and removed all the houses I had recently downloaded. Still crashes and generating the downloads folder and empty packages. I even tried to open a neighborhood I don't play (Riverblossom Hills) and it still crashed! I'm attatching the log from the last start-up attempt if anyone can figure it out. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall the game, I've played this neighborhood for almost two years and have no desire to start from scratch again. :(

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having a sort of similar issue.

swmeek I got your benevolent dictator pal!!

Hobo mama I'm sure by now they've found some solution but have you tried deleting your groups cache files and accessories cache file (if you have the pets ep ).
Usually crashes at the loading part of it are caused by corrupted groups cache and accessories cache files. Delete the file(s) and the game will generate a new one(s) and see if it helps.
I normally delete the two of them before I start the game up.

I'll try that -- thanks for the idea!
