    Cursed sim?

Hi everyone, I've got a sim who appears to be cursed. When I try to play her she's OK for a while but then her body goes flat and her arms stick out straight, even though her face remains normal the rest of her turns into basically a paper doll. Then the lot gets overrun with huge blobs of color.

    The lot debugger doesn't help.

    It's just this one sim.

My question: Will moving help or will she bring the curse with her? I'd hate to move out if it didn't help. I've got a lot of stuff on that lot and I'm afraid to backpack it in case it's cursed too. The family would lose the business, everything. Plus a really nice house. Arrrgggghhhhh.

I'd hate to just kill her off, but she's pretty old so I'm willing if it would help, but I'm afraid her ghost would be cursed too.

    Should I move?

    Mirelly, anyone, help!

That sounds scary. How far along is she in elderhood? Maybe you could just wait for her to die and the problem would solve itself.

Unfortunately, the blobs of color make the lot unplayable.

And when I went back in to try again the problem started with the elixir of life. The top green blob was floating above the container, and then the same sim went all wonky.

Which makes me think it's the lot. I've had a lot of lots crashing lately, just in PDL. Hope it's not a sign of the end. :(

I've got too much RL stress right now to deal with this. Just want to know if moving will (most likely) solve this.

I seem to remember reading about someone else having this problem a while ago.

Are you sure it's the only lot bothered? If it is, then moving will probably solve it. Maybe you can delete the neighborhoods you don't play so there's less stuff.

    They moved, it's solved.

    Thanks for the support, 123!

*blush blush* I really didn't do anything.

Speaking of cursed sims, my Asylum challenge is going downhill, and quickly, too. For some reason one of the ghosts has glitched up the front yard. Once a sim walks out the front door, he's almost trapped there. For example, when he wants to get something from the refrigerator, he stays outside, reaches his arm into nowhere, and suddenly the fridge opens. He takes out the unprepared food and sets it on the counter that's at least fifty spaces away from him, and he does all the actions of preparing it to be cooked, except the food is actually all the way in the kitchen.
Also, the spot where visiting sims begin to fade away has somehow been moved to the middle of the sidewalk, and the newspaper boy/girl (I never really noticed who it was) drops the newspaper in rolled-up form, though you can see the square-shaped shadow underneath it.
Once a sim walks out the door, he gets the 'Be Surprised' action that sometimes sims get when watching another sim in labor, except there's nothing there to surprise him.

And there are TONS more weird things going on in the house. I was tempted to move them out and try again, but I'm already almost done with the challenge and it'd just be a big hassle. The lot isn't really unplayable...it's just really annoying.

Sounds extremely glitchy to me.

    Good luck.

    suitemichelle Gramma's here!

I had a second pregnant lady go into spaz mode where the whole lot focused on her, but she was totally unable to do anything but wave at me and grunt. solution... totally eliminated all downloads and reinstalled all ep's. I did save the downloads in unopened packages. A very odd sideaffect is there are more university clothes than I had before.

and of course the whole game loads much faster.

Once I had a glitchy thing when my lady sim was changing the baby. It just stayed there, and she walked away. I tried moving the baby somewhere else, but their action square (eg 'Hold baby') dissapeared when I unpaused. So I moved the baby around, and finally got the lady to cuddle the baby. Then I changed it's nappy and it was happy and clothed. But it was funny, every time a sim went into the room they would shriek like they've seen someone naked...
