Dr. Who? I hear that Dr. Who is back on the BBC. I always loved that series. Anybody else watch it? Anybody know if or when we'll get it on American TV? Or DVD. I'd be happy with that, too.
The new Dr Who is pretty darn good with some excellent scripts by Russell Davies and some superb peformances by Christopher Ecclestone and sidekick Billie Piper ... and they manage to (a) make a dalek actually seem scary and (b) make the viewer shed a tear or two for one of the sink-plunger-armed galactic marauders. Quite a challenge, I'm sure you'd agree ... tho' I still miss the eclectically manic Tom Baker who always looked faintly amused to find himself in the role .... I don't know when it'll get to the USA but I have seen some ads for DVD's of the new series UK link (available from Nov 21) but I'm sure they'll be available in the US as well ... meanwhile try http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/ or
