    EA CEO John Riccitiello hints at The Sims 3 francise becoming multi-platform

    Well, all this speculation of The Sims 3 coming to consoles and handhelds can be put at rest – the head-honcho of EA hinted on the fact that The Sims 3 will make it’s appearance on multiple platforms during the 37th Annual Global Media Conference.* As to what it’ll appear on still remains a mystery but it is official word that it will be coming…

    Big plans for existing franchises was another running theme during the presentation. Listing off games, Riccitiello included The Sims franchise, hinting at big announcements coming up in regards to bringing the franchise multiplatform. He also indicated big plans for EA Sports Active and the Need for Speed franchise, with new games coming from both franchises.
