EA comments on the 1.8/2.3 patch issues Like it or not, The Sims 3 patches are buggy.* Some say they have no issues – that’s fantastic.* Others say their game took a huge dump and left marks all over the place.* For those folks, I’m sorry to hear what has happened. However, The Sims 3 team is aware of the issues (hey, if you were aware, why bother releasing it?* Ah that’s right, because we’re beta testers) and made a comment in this thread at the official forums regarding version 1.8, the Create-A-World Tool and the official website issues: Hey folks, We are aware of the issues with the 1.8 patch, and they are being looked into. As soon as I have more information regarding this issue, or a solution, I’ll be posting it here in the forums.
