    EP4 - Just For Fun

Lets have some guesses as to what EP4 will be.

Don't be predictable and just say what you want, for example: Pets!!!!!!!

At least use some inventive imagination and try to guess the title of the next expansion and post a short description as if you're a Maxoid marketing person and you're having to pitch the deal to some hard-faced EA Games accountants

My own suggestion comes in next message.

(I otherwise disqualify myself from this thread. If someone gets spookily accurate and comes close enough in theme and title to make no difference then I will personally hand out some benes cos this is just for fun.)

    EP4: Farmers Market?

Thrill to the new animals available for your sims to own.

Buy a llama and harvest its silky coat to make alapaca blankets on the new weaving loom object.

Own a cow and make delicious creamy ice-cream or cheese with new dairy objects: The Mister Snowy IC Creme Maker & The Cheezo Curd-Mattic

Other new gameplay features include: lobster farming and macaroni treeziculture.

Well I don't know if I can sell the idea or not but what about a family adventure pack?

Take your family hiking on Mount Crumplebottom. Or go on a nice bike ride around the park. Pan for gold along the river.

OK advertising isn't my job but I thought about this because I keep hearing a bicycle when my sims are outside. Granted this may just be ambient street noise but I keep thinking some little sim kid is going to ride by ringing his little bell.

You crack me up, Mirelly. I can already picture those contraptions in my buy mode catalog. Love the names!

As for ideas, I got nuttin. I'm very easy to please when it comes to Sims. I'm sure I'll love whatever the next pack is.

But I'd love to own a pack of llamas, as long as they don't count as family members.

Ooh! Can I name them? Dali Llama, Whole Lotta Llama, Rama Dama Llama Ding Dong ... hee hee ...

I've talked about this topic ad nauseum, but in a nutshell: more stuff to do outside, like bikes and skateboards and jumpropes, maybe a group sport that counts as body point activity (SimBall, anyone?), vacations, camping, wild animals, gardening.

Basically, Sims Outdoors/Vacation. Maybe with a new job like Naturalist or Resort Worker/Owner.

And, more "natural" things for sims to do, like lie down/sit down when talking on the phone, hold baby/toddler while doing other things (answering door, getting mail, talking on phone, making dinner ...) and sit down conversations. I know there's hang out, which is nice, so why can't there be sit down on couch while telling a joke ...

But, I would have never thought of OFB, and it rocks. I think the people at Maxis have very good imaginations, and for now I'm pretty happy.

    Wow. Imagine that.

OOOOHH!!! I forgot to mention to you SBW. I went to change the appearance of one my sims. She was still holding her toddler and so I figured she would just put the kid down first and then change her appearence. Instead she walked into the bathroom holding her son and changed her appearence while still holding him. I loved that! I haven't tried anything else yet while holding the kids, but I wonder if they can do anything else yet.

Oh I can't wait until I have some babies to test this out! It's so stupid that they can't do simple things while holding their baby. I can understand not cooking while holding the baby because some of those dishes require two hands and you wouldn't want hot sauce splashing on baby. Talking on the phone or just sitting on the couch/chair should be possible though.

    LOL, Pescado. We know.

That's so cool, Shana! I wonder if it was a glitch ... now I'm going to carry my toddlers everywhere, just to test ...

    suitemichelle Gramma's here!

I would really like to see an easier way to create clothes, like mix and match collars and sleeves. different skirt and pant lengths etc. and the option of modest necklines if you are so inclined. I hate the ones where stuff is practically hanging out.

    how about a costume shop?

and tone down the jealously thing... a shop owner should be able to have a cup of coffee with a customer without the spouse going totally beserk.

international sims? fear of flying? the mile high sims?

That's not a glitch. You can change a toddler's appearance now by having a teen or adult take them to the mirror.

Cool! Thank you!!! I will definitely try that with the next toddler I get.

Oh, we know that, but what happend was I had an adult change her own appearance, and she continued to hold the toddler when she walked to the mirror and changed her own look.
