The outages should be extremely brief and infrequent, but since we were given advanced warning, I thought it best to pass the information along to members. I also want to apologize to anyone who has logged into FTP to discover missing web content. A mishap earlier today when Karl was doing server maintenance resulted in a lost of all web server content for SimGames.net domain hosting members with account names starting with the letters A through G. If you are affected, you will need to recreate your site directories and reupload your content as we do not currently have any form of backup. No email or databases were lost. We are looking into some mechanism for occasional site content backups, but don't have any specific plans yet.</div>
