    FTP problem

Sometimes I upload the same file quite a few times wthin a small amount of time (Like for testing a new site design), but I sometimes end up with multiple copies of the file (same name, everything), which ends up not loading the latest upload, and when I go to delete these multiple copies, all I get is an error about the file not existing or something like that.

If you need to know the exact error, I'll find out, but why is the FTP acting this way?

Two files cannot have the same file name, unless they have different capitalization. This sounds like it may be a bug with your FTP program.

Call me old fashioned, but I still use WS_FTP LE, a program that hasn't been updated in almost five years. :)

I have to agree with you Kevin. I used AceFTP for the longest time. When my friend built the system I have now, he installed WS_FTP LE, I haven't used anything else since. It doesn't have all the extra stuff you don't really need, it simply does what I want it to do.

I managed to get a free FTP program, and I changed my browser from Internet Explorer to Firefox (Yes, Mozilla Firefox)!
