Game crashes only with downloads that are not recolors I'm new to all of this so go easy on me ! I have been downloading and have this problem : If it is a recouler (dont know if that is the right word?) of a Maxis object the game works fine but if I download anything that doesn't look like a Maxis object, I mean that if that object has been changed in any way (other than color) then my game loads all the way up to right before you get to choose a city, then it crashes. There are soooo many cool objects out there that have been changed, that I really want to get this to work. Help please ???
I can't think why this would happen unless you are trying to download items for an expansion pack you don't have.
Thank you for the reply. I make sure to only download items only for the expansion packs that I have so i guess that cant be the problem, but thank you for trying to help.
Hmm. This is really strange. Does this happen to ALL downloads, or just the ones that you've tried? Which site did you download your furniture from? It could be the cause of bad creators... (Psst... Recolours is the right word. Changed the title to that. It was a little unclear other wise. )
