Game freezing during Game Play. Alright. I have read through some posts trying to figure things out on my own without posting my own little message of my problems. however, it hasn't helped. my problem is, the game will let me play for a while then just freeze at the most random times. or it will freeze right when i load the game, (the second a neighborhood loads with a story). I don't know how to fix this. it just kind of sucks to buy a game and then have trouble with it. Its Open for Business Expansion. I used to have University and University worked fine! No freezing or anything. I do not have university installed. just the the sims 2 and open for business.. my system info: System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 8/30/2006, 17:01:22 Machine name: NEAL-ZXF49OW28O Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard System Model: Presario R3000 (DP218AV) BIOS: Ver 1.00PARTTBL Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs) Memory: 510MB RAM Page File: 283MB used, 965MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.2180 32bit Unicode Display Devices --------------- Card name: MOBILITY RADEON 9200 Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.
