GDC 2008: Pollinating the Universe from IGN IGN was another site listening in on Caryl Shaws speech from the GDC. She speaks on how custom content will play a huge role for Spore and how they were able to develop it, along with the many things you can do with them. The in-game version of MySpore.com also includes options to take your individual creations out for a test drive and actually capture movies on them in action. These movies can then automatically be uploaded to youtube.com or saved to your hard drive for further editing. The team is also working on a partnership with a comic creation software company to offer comic book versions of your own Spore story. Plans are also in place for a Spore store where you can order t-shirts or mugs or even 3D print outs of your creature. Theres even an option that allows you to capture an animated GIF of your creature in action for use on message boards.
