    Hack-free "Second Rung" Homes

Following on from my 'Starter Homes' (more of which, soon ... including some fully furnished for under $20K).

Often the toughest step is the move up from first home to a serious house with plenty of rooms and a decent sized garden where the owners may install spas, pools, fish-ponds, glasshouses ... of even a tennis or croquet court.

My new range of "Second Rung" homes are aimed at players who want realistic new builds, ready for occupancy.

All homes are offered for sale in the same way as real-life houses, having all the following features as standard:
    • built on a perfectly level plot
    • 3 good bedrooms
    • 3 bathrooms
    • bonus room/play room/nursery
    • barbeque area convenient to kitchen
    • lighting to all rooms
    • bathroom fittings
    • kitchen counters
    • kitchen sink
    • burglar alarm
    • smoke alarm
    • telephone
    • driveway and garage
All made with The Sims 2 plus all expansion packs to Seasons.

    The Devon

The Devon is a three bedroom property on a 4x2 plot, almost 50% of which is undeveloped back garden.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is well proportioned and has an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. At the front of the house are two family bedrooms and over the garage is a large bonus room. The landing is wide enough to accommodate a baby crib - I raised a baby thru toddlerhood out there with a family I've had locked at mid careers (Business & Military) ... I won't let them get any more promotions by keeping them from gaining the necessary skills. The bonus room worked well with a desk for homework, plus work-out bench and other guff.

Downstairs the kitchen diner gives onto a side patio where a grill can be sited. The bathroom has a shower, so sweaty sims needed go upstairs to freshen up (and with 3 full bathrooms, no sim is ever likely to need to wait for facilities).

The living room has a fireplace and is perfectly proportioned for socialising, TV watching, or just studying from a book (I put a couch in the alcove beside the fireplace.

    Custom Content

Includes some walls and floors, by me, for the kitchen and bathrooms.

NICE Work, Mirelly! Very realistic and looks very playable. Looking forward to SEASONS so I can try it out.

One question, though - Does it also need the Stuff packs, or only the expansion packs???

I don't think I used any stuff pack stuff in any of my houses.
