Hello Hello everyone, my name is Kate, and I'm a Simaholic. I'm new, been here a few times and you all sounded nice so I thought I'd join up. Little bout me, I'm a nice Canadian gal, going to university for my bachelor of commerce, I have two kitties so I'm pretty excited for Sims Pets, and uhhh well I'm not a huge gamer (although I'm not too shabby and half the time beat my bf at Halo 2 and call of duty oohhh yeah that's right), I love the sims and through the years, though I have taken breaks from it, I haven't stopped loving it. Architecture, decorating, controlling people's lives-what's there not to love? well...maybe how long it takes to friggin load Anywho, nice to meet you all.
Welcome, Kate! Nice to have you aboard. I'm SBW. I'm a pet lover too ... right now I just have a dog and a cat and some fish. I've been known to have a menagerie at times, and my daughter, who I call Witch Baby on this site, is bugging me for a new hamster to replace the recently departed Hannah. I think I've been wanting this game my entire life. I seldom get tired of playing. If I don't want to play my sims there's always a new building I want to make, or clothing I just have to have. I hear you on the loading part! Though mine loads faster now that I've upgraded my computer. And since Shana showed me how to skip the movie. D'oh.
LOL, it was quite funny, SBW was sitting next to me at my apartment and I was loading the game. I skipped the intro and she was all in shock. Hehe, I wasn't going to mention it SBW, save you the embarrassment, but since you mentioned it...LOL I think I patted her as well. I'm in Minnesota, along with SBW and Sachrissa. We didn't know each other before this forum though; brought us all together *tear* Awww.....anyway! Welcome Kate! As you can probably tell I love kitties as well! We (my boyfriend/fiancee type person...long story) have three. Addie is my current avatar, my baby of the three. We also have Tanner and Hailee. Check the threads, about two months ago we did a picture thread of our animals, and feel free to add your two little ones to the thread as well! I don't get too tired of playing the sims, but I definitly go through times where I am more addicted to it. I think I'm just as addicted to WorldSims as I am the actual game. Hi, Kate. Like, Michelle, my daughter introduced me to the Sims (Sims1). But I never knew about all the downloads available for these games until I got Sims2 and joined Worldsims. Check out the thread "Our Favorite Download Sites" if you haven't already. WOW! My computer is leaning over like the Tower of Pisa because of the weight of my downloads folder.
