Help me please! Ok I have a few questions....one of my grandmother sims wants is to have a grandchild yet she has like 4, and i invited them all over to meet her and it still wasn't fulfilled....does her daughter have to live with her and have a baby for that to be fulfilled or what? And another question i have a sim that has a lifetime want of graduating 3 children from college and she did but her lifetime want wasn't fulfilled, how does that work? And my last question is i just got a puppy that pees outside (good boy!) but leaves a puddle, is there any way to get him to pee and not leave a puddle?!
Grandma wants a shiny NEW grandchild, and great-grandchildren won't do. So if you want to fulfill her need one of her children has to have a kid. They don't have to live with her for her want to be fulfilled; the game will know. No, you cannot get rid of pee puddles. My advice: If it pees in the lawn, hire a gardener. If it pees somewhere else (patio, porch, sidewalk) hire a maid. Or build a cleanbot. I think the lifetime wants went FUBAR with the introduction of Pets. I had a sim with the same want who had it fulfilled after only two kids, and a son-in-law-to-be, graduated. So apparently I had kid #3 for no reason. Hopefully the Pets patch will fix that.
