Home Business.. I was wondering how to start a home pet business, do i need any specific things (such as a cash register etc) or do i just start a home business. Thanks to anyone who replies!
Yup, need to call the 'business' line on your phone...then select 'start home business'. You then need a cash register and stock to sell. Not sure if the 'pet booth' things (those display cases with the dogs and cats in them) are available for home businesses though. You can always breed dogs and/or cats and keep them in a yard then sell them to customers as well? You'll also need facilities for the customers (toilets, entertainment, food etc..). Cass.

You can train pets and sell them (there should be pet display cases in buy mode) for several thousand simoleans each, so each pet is quite an investment! All of the above I think are corrrect but I wouldn't know for myself.
After i buy the pet display cases, how do i put pets in them? Where i try to click on the pet display cases, there aren't any options.
You can't click on your pet to sell them. Click on the sim you want to sell your pet too. There should be an option for sales, even if you don't own a home business, which then will give you a further option to sell pet. The sim your asking will think it over and decide if they want to buy it from you. The higher the relationship with the pet and the potential buyer the better the chance of it being sold is.
Also, once you've started your home business a new control panel should appear in the top right corner of the screen. You click on the sales tag button and then click on the objects you want to sell. It should turn them yellow in colour so you can see what is now for sale and what isn't. You can't so this to actual pets, but if you do it to the 'pet display cases' it will put a pet in them (once the game is in play mode again). Then just sell, sell, sell. Oh and to change the price of the objects you can click on the cash register and it'll give you the option (or I think you can click on individual items too). Cass.
