How to Cheat on Your Simnifigicant Other Jealousy is a terrible thing. That green-eyed monster ruins relationships. So without resorting to cheats and hacks I have been looking for ways to keep the more over-amorous of my sims content without getting the whole neighborhood inflamed in a right old hue and cry. The answer it seems is cars. Rik has been casually conducting an an affaire with Kaylynn right under his adoring wife's nose. He waits until his SO is busy on the phone and then sneaks out to car for a quick cuddle and general windscreen misting with the maid in the family car. It's a good job that simcars don't have cubby-holes and glove compartments and other places where mistresses are prone to leave evidence of their paramour's indiscretions (personally I think they leave their <ahem> "calling cards" behind deliberately ... but that's another tale). Anyway. Has anyone got any similar outrages against simmorality to relate (or better still how about some more sure fire tips for safe(r) philandering ... )
I wait until the other Sim goes to work if they have a job, then call the other Sim over and get them in the hot tub. Sometimes if they woohoo in bed, the other Sim falls asleep after - which is bad if they're still there when the other sim gets home...
One thing I do is I invite the other over when the spouse is at work. Once the spouse arrives home I keep the cheating sim busy with other interactions so no flirting or kissing happens without my supervision. I send the unsuspecting spouse to bed, and once they are asleep the cheating sim can do whatever they want with their spouse non the wiser.
Fooling around when they're asleep can get tricky ... better make sure that spouse is pretty darned tired first, you may find your other sim getting slapped when the fun's all done. I've found that it also depends on personality. Some sims are more likely to take offense at cheating than others. I've had sims that have to be within view of the cheating to take offense while others seem to have "Cheat Radar." Oh, and ha ha "Simnificant" other. Boy am I slow today. Very clever, Mirelly. I need more coffee.
LMAO, you're not the only one that needs more coffee, SBW. I saw that and did a doubletake, thinking that Mirelly had caught the "I don't care about spelling and grammar" flu. I also play the "while the cat's away, the mice will play" game while the spouse is at work. Oh, and I do it on community lots from time to time, also. Only smaller lots, though, where I can see the whole lot and make sure that the SO is not around. Listen to me!! If someone just cliked on this topic without knowing we were talking about Sims, they'd think I was a rather loose woman!
And who said "getting the whole neighborhood inflamed in a right old hue and cry" (love the choice of words, btw) was bad? Watching sims slap each other is what makes my life worthwhile.
In my story thread I purposefully made Don Lothario and Chloe Curious flirt while one of his lovers was outside on the bubble blower. That seemed to work until Marisa got tired of the bubbles. Uh oh...
How were Chloe Curious and Don Lothario able to communicate? Did you move one of them to the other neighborhood? Because that's...not good. It could result in a BFBVFS.
I had Sam Moore cheat on his wife Bambi Jane, with Virginia Dawn Hicks. Virginia and Bambi are ex-sisters-in-law. So, as Sam goes in to fulfill the "Want to kiss Virginia Dawn" want, who strolls up but Jackson!!! Now, Jackson is Virginia's ex-husband, and also Bambi's big brother. Needless to say, he was distressed. He had two red minus signs over his head, and he stood there fretting and whimpering. He didn't try to slap either of them nor complain in any other way. I didn't switch over and play his lot, so I'm wondering if he lost relationship points with Sam or with Virginia. I'm guessing Virginia, but if I saw my little sister's spouse kissing someone else, I'd be a little angry at the spouse, too.
Hermia Summerdream really wanted to cheat on her husband with this really hot townie guy. (I think he's dreadful looking, but Hermia and I have different tastes I guess). So what she did instead of inviting him on a *date*, was to invite him on an *outing*. Perfectly innocent to any passersby who knows and/or is related to her husband. They had a nice dinner and no one batted an eye. Once she scoped out the place and decided no one there would freak out, then she could get romantic with her ugly hot guy. When her husband's sister came in later, Hermia just shrugged and said, "What? It's just an outing. Nothing freaky going on here..."
I seem to recall that Wynter Sparrow's wife started kissing the maid Remington and although Wynter didn't see it other members of the family who did see it had negative feelings for Dagmar because of it. They didn't slap her or anything but she had to tell jokes and chat alot to reinstate herself in the family good will.
LOL. My poor sim, Edward French is making his SO, Clarice's life a misery with his philandering ways. He spends so much time sleeping on the couch I wonder why he doesn't just pack his bags and go set up home with Kaylynn. He got caught again tonight. He was canoodling in the hot tub when he heard the smoke alarm go off and he (wrongly) assumed that Clarice would be too pre-occupied with fire extinguishers to notice what he was up to. Oh well ... back tot he couch and eating humble pie. Trouble is, the only time Clarice gets into purple heart mood is when she's spitting mad ... what a silly old lady
Yeah, I love the purse Clarice is carrying. I've thought about downloading some but wasn't sure how they'd work. Listen to me now, will you. I've downloaded just about everything else, from motorcycles to skeletons and things you haven't even seen yet. And I'm worried about a purse? The slapping scene is hysterical.
LOL the only caveat with the shoulder bags (to me a purse is thing for keeping cash and coins in and is kept in a 'bag' ) is that the ones I got are stored in the eyeglasses section and so giving a gal a bag will make her attractive or repellant to sims with speccy fixations ... I'll tell ya where I go 'em from when next I play and see the credits ...
I think they're at XM sims, aren't they? I haven't had a sim wear one yet, but I have them. They seemed cool, I just wasn't sure I wanted them walking around the house with a purse all day. That just seemed a little odd, to me.
LOL I thought so too, on both counts. They do help to personalise a sim tho and Clarry is very definitely an 'old bag'
Old bag. Ha. I'm a third-generation punster, myself. You and I together would be dangerous, methinks.
