I have a question about the houses available at WorldSims I'm not a big fan of hacks, especially if I don't know they are in the game to begin with. I used to download houses a while back before finding out that hacks and such travel with the house when it's packaged and made available for download. Well when I changed computers I apparently neglected to move something because all of my custom houses that I got from various sites have disappeared. There are some real nice ones available here but I don't know if I will be getting hacks in my game by downloading them. So my question would be do those of you who provide these awesome houses do it in a way that would not include hacks in with the house? Thanks Ruth
I usually remove my downloads folder before I build and package any custom houses that I upload. But, to be safe on any house you download (including mine, because I ain't perfect) download the file and then scan it using the clean installer before you open the package file.
