I just wanna work I've got a bit of a problem. I've got a 6 member family on one of my lots, things are a little hectic but I'm finally starting to get things in order and all of a sudden I run into an obvious bug with the carpool that takes my sims to work. Five of the six sims in this particular family have jobs, and every one of them can't go to work because when the carpool shows up it not only doesn't activate the 'go to work' task, but when I try to manually tell them to go to work the car simply disappears. I am running the most recent patch available on EA's site, and I made a typically useless attempt to find some tech support from EA (can't say that I'm a fan of EA). I'm hoping someone can offer up some help. At this point I'm about ready to write this game off as a loss. This is a show stopping bug with no apparent fix. Looks like I spent 60 bucks on 4 shiny new coasters.
Is it just that one lot? Sometimes, for whatever reason, a lot gets buggy. Before giving up the game for dead, I'd move them to a new lot. Or, you could download Pescado's lot debugger from MATY (More Awesome Than You). It's NOT a pay site. He's just got a weird sense of humor. You can get everything for free.
