I survived E3 It's that of year again folks. where all the top game develeopers and distirbutors cram into the L.A Convention Center for 3 days to show of thier stuff. But enough with the intro on the games!! Sim City 4: Rush Hour Expansion This expansion pack allows the player to get directly invovled with thier city. One example I was given was a Police station was place and squad cars where about patroling the city. Click on any one of them and you're given a mission in which you, the squad car have to arrest a car jacker. Once you accept you take control of the police car and drive through your city's streets in an attempt to catch the theif (Think GTA except you're the police) If you nap the crooks you're city is rewared by unlocking a super police station that gives you a helocopter, that also has it's missions that can unlock other hidden gifts or just go cruseing in your chopper. The game also allows you see where traffic toruble spots are but seeing what routes each building in you're city usally takes (Such as viewing how many people in a perticual household drive and what routes the people of that house hold take to get where they want to go) This makes spotting high traffic areas easier and able to deal with them better such as wider laned streets, elevated trains and Faires to corss bodies of water. The Sims: Bustin' Out To give Sims: Superstar alittle competion (And something for thouse who's computer just can't take another expansion pack), The Sims Bustin Out for GC, PS2 & XBOX allows you're sims to something that people have been asking for since day one: The abbility to get into a car and drive to another sims house. You can even turn your sims house into a business such as a gym, dance club, nudits colony, ect. Along the way you can get better cars like a streatch limo with a pool in the back as well as secret vechciles and interactions. The sims are also more aware of thier personality. So if you have a shy person that tries to DJ, they'll goot boo'ed at while one who's very outgoing will raise the roof so to speake. You'll also see that the shyer people will tend to dance on the edge of the dance floor while thouse that aren't will be smack dab in the middle. Expect it to bigger and better than the first sims on the console. Stay tuned for more as I report back for the next tweo days of E3. Got a game you want checked out let me know and I'll see what I can learn about it!
Wow that's neat you got to go to the game expo! Other than the Sims games, I'm interested in hearing about any Fantasy games or Super Hero games. My brother is into some of those but I don't have any yet.... Also, any games that are like Animal Crossing... I played that at my friend's house for the entire week I was visiting her and got VERY addicted!! ...but I resisted the madness of buying a whole game console system just to play ONE game!!!
Is Sim City 4 Rush Hour Expansion an add-on for which you pay an additional price, or is it a patch, or something, where you don't have to pay anything extra?
It was pretty hard getting past the crowds. People bumping, being slightly rude at times but most aren't rude. SC4 Expansion looks preyy damn cool, makes SC4 much more additive than it already is. The sims busting out was pretty fun but the demo only had 3 places you can visit.
This page might interest you a bit Simzer.. http://www.eagames.com/official/sc4_rushhour/features.jsp
I believe there was a Finaly Fantasy XI trailer showing at SE's booth, no? And I know i'm comng in w/ this question a lil late, but here goes: Was there any booths showcasing Lineage II?
