Is this all I have to do to back up my sims?

I'm switching computers and I was told all I have to do is save a copy of my documents/EAgames/Sims2 folder. Is this true?

Yes it is. But you ought to know that the folder is large - at least 350MB (thats what it starts at when you first install) ... mine is up to 4GB ... and that's after several large-scale clear-outs.

The best way to move such large folders is to use a LAN (connect the two computer on a home network ... this can be done easily with a wireless network set up increasingly being supplied as part of a broadband/DSL deal or failing that a cheap network cable will connect almost all computers built in the last 6 years or so. Otherwise you'll have to burn the files to a CD or or other optical media.
