its me again with yet another question well i have this family...we will call them family (A) and that consists of 12 member...me,husband and 10 children (not included the children's spouses). well i made two elders (man and woman) i will call them family (B). would i be able to make family B the parents of me in family (A) without creating a whole new family? does anyone know what to do? thank you Babyace
I don't believe it is possible. If the more prolific members know how, they would probably post here about it.
Ha..prolific. I imagined...something else when I saw that. I'm not sure how you would do that...maybe with SimPE. I know that SBW has made sims and used that, or some other program like that, to make them part of her sims' families.
Yep, that's the insiminator. Go over to MTS2 to find it. Just run a search for insiminator. You can then "spawn" the family tree by clicking anywhere on the ground. As long as Family B happens to be in the same lot, there is an option to make (insert sims name here) my parent. Something along those lines. I've used it, as has SBW.
thank you what is SimPe and or Swp (sorry if it is wrong)? so do they move in with you or what? and then does my children and Grandchildren become their family too? thank you
It's called the Insiminator. There's a link to it at Mod the Sims 2. You have to join the Insiminator site to get it but it's free. They don't move in unless you invite them, and yes, your family becomes theirs. Your kids are their grandkids, etc. Of course great-grandchildren won't show up on their list as family but they'll still treat them this way. (This is one thing I'd like to see change.) Don't get SimPE. That can be a dangerous program if you don't know what you're doing. I have it and don't even use it. I got it for recolors but haven't gotten around to using it yet. It's safe if used that way. It's not safe if you use to to change your sims. Stick to the Insiminator. It's been thoroughly tested and game-tested as well and I've not heard any complaints. It has other cool features too.
thanks ive downloaded the insiminator....what else can it do? ive used it before....he helped me get my triplets lol

The insiminator lets you, among other things: Change your sim's age to older or younger. Kill off a sim quickly. Refresh a sim's motives to "all green" or change their mood to platinum. Very useful if you have a vampire that's about to expire. I saved my daughter's sim that way. Change a sim to a vampire or a zombie or back again. Change what day it is for one day, for example if you really need it to be Monday because your sim has no money and they have to get to work, you can change the day to Monday. But the next day will be whatever day it should have been in the first place, so it can be a little confusing. Change the time of day. Change family relationships. I had a couple of long-lost parents show up and was able to make them parents in fact. Good thing too because one of the dads REALLY liked his daughter before that. Blech. Have a baby with whomever you like without having to seduce them, regardless of gender, and including the Grim Reaper. Not the social bunny or the shrink. That would be funny though ...
