Jesus Christ….Riccitiello is a stupid a-hole This man just doesn’t get it.* I’m sorry, but everytime he speaks he just appears to sound dumber and dumber by the second.* I wish this newspost would reach the desk of his.* I believe it is time he needs to actually read the crap he is spewing out. In a new article with Gamasutra, Riccitiello states the following on Spore’s DRM: “Everyone gets that we need some level of protection, or we’re going to be in business for free,” Riccitiello says. But he sees a lack of understanding among “a minority of people that orchestrated a great PR program. They picked the highest-profile game they could find,” he says. “I respect them for the success of their movement.” “‘I’m guessing that half of them were pirates, and the other half were people caught up in something that they didn’t understand,” he says. “If I’d had a chance to have a conversation with them, they’d have gotten it.” He notes that the company will soon be rolling out newly-announced relaxations on the account restrictions any day now, allowing users to deactivate one registered machine in order to activate another one. “There are different ways to do DRM; the most successful is what WoW does. They just charge you by the month,” Riccitiello says, noting that the subscription model means that even those who pirate the software itself can’t play without paying. “We’re going to see an evolution of these things. I wish we didn’t live in a world where we had to do these types of things. I want it to be seamless and easy – but I also don’t want to have a bonfire of money.” Why can’t you figure it out, John!?* Pirates are NOT complaining!* Why the hell should they?* It’s not them that you’re dealing with, it’s pissed off legitimate game buyers (myself) who are complaining the loudest.* They get the better deal, hands down.* Your approach using SecuROM is a huge slap in the face to us.* I haven’t came across a single pirate complaining about SecuROM/DRM.* You want to know why?* BECAUSE THEY FREAKIN’ REMOVED THE DAMN DRM!* Yes, I’m shouting and yes, I’m angry.* Why are you such a tard’ when it comes to these interviews? Listen, it’s not your job to minimize piracy - it’s your job to maximize profits.* You don’t do that by pissing off your fanbase calling us Pirates because we are complaining.* If you want to maximize your profits, then you’re doing one hell of a sh***y (edited for UOEM’s language policy) job.* You’re suppose to attract customers, not lead them away from potential sales. I’m sorry Riccitiello, but at this point if they put your brain in a humming bird, it would fly backwards up a mule’s butt.
Here's your sign! It reads IDIOT!! Do you think that everybody who plays games has the cash to pay every stinking month? Or that all of them have internet access? Paying every month is not the best way to do this you stupid imbecile! We already pay through the nose for your damn games now and you greedy bast**ds want even more money while the damn pirates laugh at us in because we were raised not to steal somebody's hard work!
