Landline or Cell? Which do you use the most? The subject says it all . Which do you use the most, your/a cell phone or your/a landline?
Both....I get a lot of private calls via my cell and lot of regular calls over my landline... I had a $100.00 cell phone bill last month
Phones are for wussies. I use pigeon-mail. It's so great cos after you receive your mail, you get to eat the dang bird. It's like a fortune cookie w/ wings. Argh, no SIM card! Cant use cell! When I got the cell it was about the newest model on the block. Now I'm not so sure. Who am I gonna call anyway? Chat's dominated my life already.
I didn't think that you were supposed to use a telephone when you were in prison - i.e. in a cell. Or, perhaps, you could talk of a cell in a battery - but what sort of cell are you talking about? We have a telephone which can't ring when I have the internet on - we can't get broadband.
Good point! I think thats the commonest problem amongst net users nowadays. It's enough of an inconvenience to make you wanna tear your hair out, but it's not annoying enough for you to shell outa a coupla extra bucks a month just to upgrade to call waiting, Broadband, etc. I used to live in a house w/ two lines, but ever since i moved, i've been hogging the only line in the house. Thinking of turning my cell back on tho. After tasting my friend's broadband connection its clear that i must strive to earn (or gather, or find) enough to pay for at least DSL. Must! :bunny:
I regularly use both, in addition to Ametuer Radio for communication purposes. you know the drill... friends and family on the cell, telephone solicitors, ect., on the landline...
My wife has a pacemaker and can't use a mobile telephone within twelve inches of her pacemaker. It is a nuisance because combined with the fact that we can't get broadband we are just about cut off when I am on the net. And I can't download anything very much. I was invited to the chat room but I needed Java, but my machine will not download it - but then my machine will not do very much.
My wife has got a mobile now. I understand that the expression is 'mobile' and not mobile 'phone. She has to hold it at least twelve inches from her pacemaker. We have a contract - she is not permitted to die before I do and if she does then I will sue her.
