    Lasher State University

Hey all. Instead of creating a new thread every time I upload a new building, I think I'll just stick to ONE thread and update it when something new comes up... Much less clutter this way! =)

I've named my University after my main neighborhood "Lasher's Bowl" which (off the subject) is a neighborhood formed around a large crater island... Hence the name. =) I felt I needed to explain!

Also, most of my buildings are a little on the luxury side. It's something I can't help. I like my Sims to be surrounded by beautiful things, lol. So, most of my buildings (that Sims have to pay for) are going to be a bit expensive. For cheaters or really good players! =)

To recap what is already available for download; we have available a six room dorm, one level, plays smoothly. Includes a Library, Gym, and large open area for dining and playing. You can find the Edison Way Dormitory at: http://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/lot_detail.php?asset_id=116864.

There is also a Secrety Society available. It's a large castle-esque building with a lot of amenities! Another nice open entertaining area, art wing, bedroom (in case you need to crash before heading to class!), and the bubble room with vaulted ceilings. One little boo-boo to tell you is that there was supposed to be a store on the first floor, but when you get there, there is no NPC to run the register. =( You can find the Ashlar Society Headquarters here: http://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/lot_detail.php?asset_id=118015.

    Karma Llama Drama

If you're looking for a nice Sorority or Fraternity house for your Ivy League Sims, then look no further!

The Karma Llama Drama house (feel free to change the name when placing the house!!) is a mix of Victorian style architecture and Greek accents to blend it in with your campus.

The house sleeps seven sims in four bedrooms, and includes four bathrooms, library, music room, game/tv room, pool/hottub, and large entertaining room. The lot is only 3x3, but packed with goodies, so it plays well.

So, if you are looking for a nice house to set up a new Frat/Sorority, check it out. Once you've moved in your Sims, use the phone option under "Greek House" to "Apply for charter" and you've got yourself a new organization!

You can find Karma Llama Drama here: http://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/lot_detail.php?asset_id=123413

I hope you enjoy and feel free to comment!

    Update: Good News!

I was just about to quit playing tonight and had already saved my game to quit when I thought I'd try something, I used the little store in my Ashlar's Secret Society building just to see what happened.

After choosing an outfit from the clothing rack, my Sim walked over to the register and was just standing there with clothes in hand. I figured I'd wait to see how long it would take for the action to cancel itself out or before I got fed up when after a little bit one of the other secret society members walked over and rang me up! So it works! =)

So, anyone wanting to put a store or business on a secret society zoned lot, go ahead! =)

    Oh, that is so funny!

But it's good to know it works. It's nice to see people trying out new things.

    Union Music Lounge

    Hello again!

    Time for another update!

If you're looking for a place to send your Sims after they've finished up their homework, send 'em down to the Union Music Lounge!

The Lounge provides a very spacious area to let your creative Sims do their thing. Whether it's just an upcoming college band or seasoned veterans, the Lounge has it all.

It even includes a pool/arcade room for those that aren't so musically inclined.

BTW, this venue works just as well in a residential neighborhood (or perhaps a future 'downtown' area as well!).

    I hope you all enjoy!
