Letter from Spore PR person to xSpore This is the answer the people from www.xSpore.com got in response to their "flood EA with email" action: "Hi Xspore.com! We have heard the cries of your people and wish to respond to their enthusiasm with a flood of detailed information and assets about Spore! But alasit can not yet be so L. I have just been hired to lead the PR efforts for Spore and soon well have a community manager who will specifically be helping to keep Xspore and the other fan sites in the loop as well. We have been keeping a bit to ourselves lately as weve been getting ready for launch, nailing down plans, and putting everything in order for the information to start flowing again in mid-to-late January. Around that timeframe well be able to confirm a release date and to start answering all of your burning questions with solid information. We were all very sorry to hear that you felt EA was specifically withholding information from Xspore and I can assure you that is not the case. In fact, wed be happy to add you to our list of fan sites so you can receive information about the game when we start sending stuff out. From what we can see, we dont have a contact person for your site and this webmaster email for TehNetwork is the only contact I could find, which is probably why you felt in the dark. Please let me know a contact name, email address, etc. so we can include Xspore in our future community communication. Stick with usthe light is at the end of the tunnel!
