Life and death I was collecting these pics for a reason. The child, Hayleigh, was unusually pretty. Most of my simfants look as though they have been messing with Dr Vu's plastic surgery machine. So I felt it worth recording here genetic heritage. I'll get around to adding pics from the paternal branch later ... but Daddy Ethan's face hints that his side of the family has strong, rather than petitely pretty features. So from left to right, Hayleigh, Pop: Ethan, Mom: Lainey, Maternal Grandpa: Winlsow, Maternal Grandma: India
Wakey wakey? But that wasn't my reason for posting. (that's not a response to Kat's comments posted during my laborious creating ) Winlsow popped his clogs shortly after I took those pics. Grimmy brought him a heavenly Ambrosia cocktail and exited the virtual realm for the metaphysically virtual ... or do I mean virtually metaphysical? Anyway being of a somewhat irreverent nature I couldn't resist grabbing pic #1 where India is busy making a suitable impression on the old man's chums who'd turned up for the wake (note that the fickle creature waited until she'd pigged out on her spag bol before surrendering to the need for a weep ...) But me? I'm cynical. Zoom out a little and ooh! Lookit that! Could she just be PO'd because the poor old fella has gone and before he finished retiling the kitchen? (and yes ... he and I had just completed a minor refurbishment of the property, tweaking the floor plan slightly and making an extra room for a decent pool table and a hot tub. Sadly poor old Winslow will never get the chance to simmer his loins in the latter ... the family were still waiting for the cement to dry. But then the capriciousness of simanity emerges in all its ugly glory. Literally moments after rubbing the snot from her face she is yacking about divorce with a grin ... for heavenssakes! My own feeling (given that she had already acquired a fall in love want) was that she was hoping to snarf of the two decidedly married -- but let's not let technicalities get in the way -- targets who were, even now, troughing up the spaghetti that would've been inside the dear departed if it had been ready sooner.
LMAO, Mirelly. I just love the way you put things. "Hurry up with the spag, dear, I'm starving to death. Oh, wait, never mind ... " Fickle lot, those sims. Though I once had a sim flirt over her dead husband's gravestone and the other party was horrified. Guess it was a little too soon.
Romance, what else? Actually, I directed her to flirt, so it wasn't like it was autonomous. She was pretty heartless, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Other party was not impressed.
Hayleigh is beautiful. It's amazing how real she looks, too. I love the pictures of India weeping over the empty plate. The others look shocked. Very funny.
Update On Pretty Hayleigh She's at college now (a popularity sim) and engaged to Marco French, whom she first met at elementary school. Marco is a pleasure sim having come up with the dreaded Heads/Tails/Heads combo when he grew into a teen. It hasn't held back any. He clocked up 5 dream dates with 5 different girls as a teen and then bumped into Hayleigh on his first day at college after one dance and coy l'il flirt he rolled up an engagement want so I had him propose. The pics. Teenage Hayleigh gets out of the car her daddy bought for her for getting $9,000 worth of scholarships ... College Hayleigh at work on her term thesis. Marco being melodramatically romantic while on a date at the campus pub, The Gun Barrels ... and that name will identify my own alma mater to any who know that fine institution ... though, these days, the "Barrels" is a sad pastiche of its former inter-wars incarnation as a sprawling red-brick pseudo art-deco establishment for the depraved heathens who eschewed the higher moral ground of the nearby (Quaker-ruled) chocolate factory estates. This particular Gun Barrels is a clone of my all purpose community lot that fits on a 2x2 lot, the original name being: Slim's Throat Emporium Oh enough nostalgia from me ...
that car is brill, do you remember where you got it from or is it an an in-game one that i just havnt noticed? (i always buy the expensive car at the end)
It's a download. I know for sure it doesn't come with the game. Just wanted to add that your sim is quite pretty, Mirelly. Is that the pub or her residence? Tres fancy either way.
Sorry ... should've said. The car is from modthesims2.com Hayleigh is at the family home in the first pic with the car. She's at the pub with Marco ...
She sure did grow up good, Mirelly. :classic: She's very pretty. Isn't it sad how quickly they grow up and go off to college. I'm feeling a bit nostalgic myself. My real teenager finally got his driver's permit. Yesterday he was a baby and his little rear end fit in the palm of my hand. Today, he's driving my van and sliding the seat all the way back because his legs are so long! Sorry, we're talking sim kids, just sharing. LOL
Oh! My mom says the same things... I just graduated and she started sobbing about my first day of pre-K I need to go play sims.... I havn't played in over a week.
