Life Goals What happens when you fufill your sims long term of life goals ( not sure what its called) But its in their aspiration meter
Which is boring if you ask me. They become teflon-coated. Things just don't bother them anymore, or not as much, and they're boring to play. I try to sidetrack my sims as much as possible. I used to hate it when they got unattainable goals (100 first dates, 20 lovers at once), but now I'm glad for it.
i think it sounds good if they are in constant platnum mood. My sims goal is to become a criminal mastermind. So much for her drama degree in uni. But her husband wants 3 children to graduate from Uni yeah RIght
wait wait waiiiit. there's a permanent platnum mood? and life goals?? geezum crow.. i've been hoodwinked when it comes to basic knowledge i guess.
haha yes. i once had get 30 best friends. i don't think there were thirty people in the neighborhood.. :(
hover your mouse over your aspiration meter there should be a little simple in a gold star and thne next to it some writing about that goal. I think you only get them after you graduate from uni.
No, you don't have to graduate from University in order for your sims to have a Lifetime Want (LTW). Although I do think you have to have University installed in order for the LTW to stick (become permanently platinum) after reaching it. However, if you don't have University, tools like JM's lotdebugger and simPE allow you to manipulate it so that it will stick.
chaa i only have the sims 2. no expantion pack. nadda. i'm a jobless teenager trying to get my way through school. so then i would assume the lifetime goal want wouldn't apply to expantion pack-less folk like myself?
Yeah I strived so hard at first to get them to permaplat but not anymore. If it happens it happens but it's not my focus. I thought it would help game play because I wouldn't have to worry so much about their moods and all but that's part of the challange. Ruth
