Maxis Geek on the Go… Best Buy’s Geek Squad has nothing on me, I put them all to shame.* Ok, not really.* But I would like to share a few pictures with you.* As I mentioned last weekend was incredibly busy.* Spent a good 6 hours at a car dealership looking over the cars, trying to see if they had a car that I wanted.* I did my research on the various models I was planning.* My requirements were simple:* red or blue (my favorite colors), a hatchback, good gas mileage, and small but 4 doors.* I knew I couldn’t buy new, so pre-owned was my option.* And I wanted to buy from a dealership because they could provide more information then the Average Joe can. So after 6 hours at my local Dodge Dealership, I was a proud owner of a 2001 PT Cruiser in very excellent condition (74K miles, 1 owner, female, always took it back to the dealership for repairs so I had a list of every thing that had been done to it).* Very nice ride.* However, it wasn’t nice enough for a geek like myself.* Since I’m a huge Maxis fan more than anything else I like (I wouldn’t be running this fansite for 9 years if I wasn’t, LOL ) I’d figure I’d show my love to my hobby. Thanks to a friend of mine who can do license tags, I had two plates made up with the Maxis logo (please don’t sue, Maxis!) – one with my favorite Spore Creature and the other plain.* Not only that, I also took the USB Plumb-bob from my Sims 3 Collector’s Edition and hanged it on my rearview mirror.* I suppose if someone questions me on the tag, I could always reach in the back seat and give them a copy of Spore Creature Creator.* After all, it looks like I have plenty of copies to go around Heh, if I had the money I’d be crazy enough to put a vehicle wrap on.* Yeah, I’m strange…no need to mention that Share and Enjoy:
