Mystery of the Disappearing Delivery People... So there was poor Marylena, pregnant, starving, and all alone in the house (Husband Chase was off at his night job). She went to the kitchen to fix herself a meal, when she discovered the refrigerator was empty! Quickly, she called the Grocery Store to have some staples delivered. She waited and waited, getting hungrier and hungrier. So she called the grocery store again to have them send another delivery. STILL no one shows up. Finally, in desperation, she called Pizza Delivery...BUT NOBODY COMES! Chase arrived home to find his poor wife weak from hunger, and near complete aspiration failure. Quickly, he sped off to the grocery store himself, and brought her back sustenance. While she started on an instant meal, he fixed her an omelet. Tragedy averted! But what about those disappearing delivery people? Was the lot corrupted? Would my third genearation Legacy family have to abandon their family estate? Thankfully, no...All three were discovered behind the stately manor house, just hanging around the pool...LITERALLY! Check out the picture! PS - Around dawn, one by one, they eventually just dropped down, and walked off the property...
It's a corrupt lot or a game file as it appears to be the pedportal that's not loading the deliveries correctly. Try ordering something on a different lot. If it doesn't work then it could be the game's files have become corrupt.
So far, it seems to have been an isolated incident, and has not occurred again...YET! Hopefully, it will remain that way. I was terribly amused by the pictures, however, and thought I'd share. That's what I love about this game...You just never know what's going to happen next! For future reference, though, what is "pes' unstuck tile thingy?" Just in case it happens again...

Thanks! And thanks for the compliment!! I'm expecially proud of that house since my little Legacy family built it from the gound up. Alexander Ravenglass started out with nothing but a shed and a dream - he married Dagmar, the mail person - they had a stormy, but passionate life together, plus three kids - and were able to evenutally move out of that shed (Now a guest cottage) and begin building the mansion of their dreams... That's what I love about this game - a little luck and hard work, and dreams CAN come true! Plus you get some wonderful and funny surprises along the way - like the Disappearing Delivery People!
This happened to me. Mine was slightly worse because it wasn't just delivery people, it was bus drivers, cab drivers, teenagers sneaking out, pizza man, chinese man and grocery guy and Pao Mellon and they all stayed for atleast 2 days. It was frustrating because on the second day they all left their spot behind the house and watched tv before leaving because they were hungry. I couldn't even interact with them. Unfortunately it never occurred to me at the time to take a screen shot. It has never happenened since.
LOL, Dee. It's a funny story anyway and doesn't matter that you got no screen shot. I can easily believe that they hung around eating your food and watching your TV. I once had a stuck nanny come unstuck and do that. She was pretty stinky, too, trailing green smoke everywhere she walked.
