need help with Sims skins I downloading some swinsuits into my sims games but the come up like regular clothing. Is there a way to get them to appear in stores instead so my sims characters can purchase them?
make sure you are downloading skins that specifically say they are for hotdate. There are a lot of great sites that have pj's, swimsuits and formals especially for buying downtown or on vacation. If they are not specified for hotdate they show up as regular skins which is not that fun!
To make a regular swimsuit skin show up for hot date: Replace the letter B at the beginning of the file name with the letter S which stands for Swimsuit. Then place the re-named file in the folder with all the Expansion Shared Skins. For pajamas to be buyables, replace B at the beginning with L which stands for Lingere, and for Evening Wear to be buyable, replace B at the beginning with F which stands for Formalwear.
