No NPCs - But Still Getting Phone Pests too tired to sleep now. I thought that getting rid of all the townie NPC kids would stop the annoying daily call from some brat asking for an adult. My new neighbourhood has been extensively engineered with SimPE. All the townies were wiped out and ghostified. I then made a number of families to replace them and used SPE to create some relationships and stuff ... Well Mercury Willis alien son of Kurt (who is married to my Sim Me) has been phoning to ask for Roderick Broke (no relation to the Pleasantville Broke's ... I just liked the name ) every night this past week. His is best friends with Rod's daughter, Candy, but the annoying little string of asterisks never wants to speak to her ... it's always Roderick he wants ... even though their relationship stands at 7/3 and falling. Heck they only even know each other cos they once sat at the same table eating layer cake and they both walked away with red minuses and after Myrtle had gone to so much trouble to impress the headmaster ... hmmm ... can't remember what Mercury was doing there now I come to think of it! (BTW showed the HM 2 bathrooms and a bedroom with Dad still sleeping in it, fed him layer cake and scored 93 ... I'm never gonna get an angle on that!) :embarrassed:
Unfortunately, the behaviors of the townie children are taken up by the neighborhood children. You'd need a mod to prevent the annoyance calling, I'm afraid. I have found that if I make sure that the child has plenty of age mate friends that they regularly call, they don't bother the adults nearly as much.
