Old Problem : Flashing Light you all may have this problem, this is about graphic card problem I'm a pro for playing the sims but it's annoying when the graphic seems ... If i made a water pool it's always become a flashing red water My system is: 526 MB RAM but only 32 MB Onboard SVGA Sis 650 And the game graphic run slow! and why is special event camera is not enabled in my game option? Please help if anyone know to fix it. PS : why did my thread always respon by the boss creature? (moderator) PLease BOSS don't be annoying!
Jenny. When the game installs it automatically detects the best settings so that the game will run as best it can. The special event camera is probably (well almost ceratinly) not enabled because your computer isn't powerful enough. Is it a laptop?
I don't have the special event camera on mine either. I have an older graphics card. It runs the game ok but I do wish I could see the special events just once Maybe I'll be able to get one someday
You haven't mentioned what your proccessor speed, that could be a factor in why your game runs so slowly also. As for your graphics problem, well, unfortunately the only thing that is going to fix that is a new graphics card as I am certain you would have the most up to date drivers for your current one as it is. Depending on your system and location, you can get a low grade one pretty cheap, I would recomend the radeaon (9200 or better) series as they do seem to perform better than Nvidia, but that's just an opinion. I enjoy watching the special event videos, though they do get boring after a while, because they are the same thing over and over again, but still, they were fun to watch. Good luck.
