Pets for Macs! Haven't seen any mention of this on WorldSims yet, but Pets has been released for Mac ALREADY! It was available on Amazon about three weeks ago, and I've now spotted it in the Apple Stores! I believe that this is the FASTEST Aspyr has come out with the Mac version! Hope they keep it up for WEATHER! Anyway, I've loaded it up on my poor, aging PowerBook (which is actually below some of the minimum specs) and although a bit slow on some of the larger or more crowded lots, it remains perfectly playable! Thanks, Aspyr!
Great news I kind of wish I used my Mac for games. They'd probably run so much better than on the pee-cee... humbug Good to hear that they got it out so quickly
One of the biggest advantages to running The Sims2 on a Mac is that I RARELY have to load the game! Once I've load it up the first time (using the Sims2 game disc), I can eject the disc, and just continue playing. Then, when I'm through, instead of quitting, I save the game, and then simply hide the game (Control + H) and continue on with the rest of my computer life. When I'm ready to play the game again, I simply click the Sims2 Icon, and PRESTO! There I am exactly where I left off!! No need to use the game disc - no need to wait as the game loads up - I can just start playing! That, to me, is WORTH the price of admission! (Or waiting for games to be ported over to Mac, as the case may be!) The only time I ever have to use the disc and load the game is if I have to shut down my Powerbook, which happens rarely...Usually, I just put it to sleep.

Yay for Macs! True it's probably a little behind the times, but Macs don't et enough gaming credit. So... yay for Pets on Mac! *beams* What can I say, it blitzes through graphics, aces music and video and even takes on Sims and a gazillion expansions. Pets is by far my favourite though I think they could have given more modifiers... like the darn ears! A pile of pointy ear mods and like... two drooping ear ones! Aaaaaand I'll use this Mac celebration to shamelessly point out my Gordon Setters in my sig. You see why I want more droopy ear mods?! They just don't look right with those short things!
